Fine Artist from Fife, Scotland - I like making prints and pots.

Driven by an interest in the mundane, exploring local cultural references and my own family dynamics, my practice focuses on celebrating everyday life, everyday pleasures and the secret tales of folk who drift by on the streets.
Think replicas of familiar objects, and prints illustrating seemingly 'unremarkable' stories of generations growing up on the East coast of Scotland.

Inspired by the vast record collection belonging to my dad, the boxes of photos stashed away in cupboards, documenting snippets of conversations, and embracing old family stories which may soon fizzle from memory, my work hopes to glorify the quiet, common, lives lived, and commemorate all the jives jived - whether that be at the Barrowlands wearing your best dancing shoes, or in your livingroom in your beaten-in baffies.*
